We’re working with a rapidly growing, award-winning Fire & Security and Telecommunications business with over 16 years of industry experience. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to add an experienced Service Engineer to their team.
The Package
£35,000 – £42,000 basic salary, depending on experience
Door-to-door travel paid

Overtime opportunities
Call-out rota with standby allowance
21 days annual leave + bank holidays
Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day per year

The Role
As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on fire and security systems across a range of large commercial sites throughout your designated area.
You’ll be working predominantly across the M25 Corridor, providing a professional and reliable service to customers while ensuring systems are operating correctly and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working in the field, wants variety in their day-to-day work and is looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
Service and maintain fire alarm and security systems
Carry out planned preventative maintenance
Diagnose and resolve technical faults
Complete service reports and relevant documentation
Maintain strong customer relationships
Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Participate in the call-out rota
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused engineer with a solid background in Fire & Security servicing.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Proven experience servicing fire and security systems
Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm and security systems
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with manufacturers such as Honeywell, Texecom, Paxton and Hikvision
A proactive attitude and willingness to continue learning
Strong communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
