Fire & Security Operations Manager – Bromsgrove - £55,000

We are currently working with a fire, life safety and security specialist business who provide a wide range of service, maintenance, remedial, small works and project support across customer contracts throughout the Midlands and South-West. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an Operations Manager to join their team based from Bromsgrove.

Salary Package:

£50,000 - £55,000
Bonus scheme 
Car allowance or vehicle provided
22 days’ annual leave & 8 days bank
Hybrid working: 3 days office and 2 days home / field
Official working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch
Area Of Cover:

Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, covering the Midlands and South-West region.
Duties:

Overseeing planned, reactive, remedial, small works and project activity across customer contracts
Ensuring service delivery meets best practice standards and contractual KPIs
First-line management of field-based service engineers and coordination of sub-contractor activity
Managing incoming reactive, remedial and small works calls to ensure engineering attendance meets contractual KPIs
Producing quotations and supporting the delivery of resulting works in collaboration with senior operational management
Coordinating specialist sub-contractor works
Ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are followed across all areas of responsibility
Supporting compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental management systems
Completing post-inspections on a sample of calls to audit completion standards and support high levels of engineer performance
Providing holiday cover for the Regional General Manager where required

Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Experience Required:
Essential:

Strong technical knowledge of fire, life safety and security systems, including fire alarms, AOV, automatic doors, warden call, door entry, access control and CCTV systems.
Hands-on experience working with engineering teams.
Good knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental requirements.
Competent IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:

Previous management experience would be advantageous.
Experience using engineering planning software to dispatch and schedule calls would be desirable.
