An established and expanding facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Fire & Security and Emergency Lighting Engineer to join their professional team.

This field-based role involves working across a variety of client sites, carrying out installation, maintenance, commissioning, and fault finding on fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and intruder alarm systems.

With door-to-door pay, overtime, and ongoing technical training, this position offers excellent long-term stability and development within a supportive engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and commission fire alarm systems
Install and maintain emergency lighting systems
Install, service, and diagnose faults on intruder alarm systems
Carry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and reactive works
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to high standards
Ensure all work complies with current fire safety legislation and regulations
Maintain accurate reports, documentation, and client records
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
Represent the business professionally on client sites

Essential Qualifications & Experience

FIA Units 1 & 2 (Fire Industry Association)
Proven experience with fire alarms, emergency lighting, and intruder alarm systems
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

18th Edition (City & Guilds 2382-22) - BS 7671
Additional Fire & Security industry certifications
Experience working in commercial or retail environments
Knowledge of current fire safety and electrical regulations

Working Hours

38-hour standard working week
Overtime available
