This opportunity is with a well-established organisation based in South Leicestershire. Due to recent growth over the past couple of years, they are now looking to add a Financial Accountant to their team.
Description
The Financial Accountant's duties will include but is not limited to:
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as required.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax returns and audits.
Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to senior management.
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to achieve financial objectives.
Identify process improvements to streamline financial reporting and operations.Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
A recognised or part qualification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Job Offer
