Due to internal promotion, this financial accountancy role offers a great permanent career opportunity for a qualified or part qualified accountant with experience.
The ideal financial accountant will have the following skills and experiences:
* Accountancy qualifications: ACCA or CIMA, fully qualified accountant or part qualified accountant with good financial accounting experience
* Strong Excel experience, numeracy and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail
* SAP systems experience is desirable, good experience in any accountancy software is essential
* Accountancy experience ideally with fixed assets (worked in companies that sell actual products, eg engineering, manufacturing or similar)
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and interpersonal with good time management skills
Joining the busy accounts team, this accountant role will be responsible daily for
* Debtors/Creditors Analysis
* P&L Margin Analysis
* Audit and Statutory accounts preparation
* Foreign Currency
* Bank Reconciliation
* Fixed Assets
* Stock Oversight
* Department performance
* VAT data updated and month end close
