About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a Service User in the B1 area of Birmingham. SU has a complex medical history including autism, learning disability, schizophrenia, and hypothyroidism. She requires consistent, structured, and person-centred support to maintain her health, wellbeing, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support during allocated hours (12:00–18:00).
* Support with daily routines and structured activities.
* Monitor mental and physical health and report any concerns promptly.
* Administer and monitor medication in line with prescribed guidelines.
* Ensure medications are taken as prescribed
* Observe and report any side effects or behavioural changes.
* Maintain accurate daily records and communication logs.
* Promote dignity, choice, and independence at all times.

Clinical Overview
* No known allergies.
* No invasive clinical interventions required (no PEG, catheter, or seizure monitoring).
* Regular health monitoring is required to ensure medication compliance and overall wellbeing.

Candidate Requirements
* Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and/or mental health conditions.
* Medication administration training (preferred).
* Calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
