ESOL Tutor - Liverpool
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is currently looking for dedicated ESOL Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition across Liverpool.
As an ESOL Tutor, you'll work with learners whose first language is not English, helping them improve their communication skills, increase confidence and achieve their educational, professional or personal goals.
Every learner is different, so we're looking for tutors who can create engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
Position Details
* Location: Liverpool
* Position: ESOL Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience delivering ESOL tuition
* CELTA, DELTA, TEFL/TESOL, PGCE, QTS or equivalent (preferred)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A flexible, learner-centred teaching style
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional references
