ESOL Tutor - Wirral
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting ESOL Tutors to deliver engaging and personalised English language tuition across the Wirral.
You'll work with learners whose first language is not English, helping them develop their communication skills and confidence across speaking, listening, reading and writing.
You'll have the flexibility to tailor sessions around individual abilities and goals, making this an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable tutor.
Position Details
* Location: Wirral
* Position: ESOL Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
Applicants should ideally have:
* Previous ESOL or English language teaching experience
* CELTA, DELTA, TEFL/TESOL, QTS, PGCE or equivalent
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to create supportive and engaging learning environments
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional references
