English Tutor
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic English Tutor to deliver face-to-face tuition to students in their homes and local libraries across the Liverpool area. Hours are flexible and can be arranged around the tutor’s availability; however, we are particularly looking for someone who is available for morning sessions.
You will be working one-to-one with students, tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs and helping them build confidence and competence in English.
Key Responsibilities of an English Tutor:

Deliver engaging, personalised English lessons face to face
*
Support students with reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and comprehension
*
Adapt teaching methods to suit different ages and abilities
*
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
*
Travel to students’ homes and nearby libraries across Liverpool
Requirements of an English Tutor:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or previous English tutoring experience
*
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and core literacy skills
*
Friendly, patient, and supportive teaching approach
*
Reliable, organised, and punctual
*
Ability to travel locally within the Liverpool area
*
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
