The Role:
As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support teachers in delivering engaging and well-structured English lessons
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students aged 11-16
Assist with classwork, homework, exam preparation and literacy development
Help maintain a positive, focused learning environment
Offer targeted support to students who require additional guidance
Get involved in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities
What We're Looking For:
A degree in English or a closely related subject
A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
Experience supporting young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, teaching assistant work, youth work, summer schools)
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive, positive and reliable attitude
