Electrical Supervisor / Construction Manager
Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for Electrical Supervisors & Construction Managers to join them on a Data Centre Project in Zurich, Switzerland.
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Overseeing all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
* Managing and coordinate electrical subcontractors, labour, and suppliers to ensure quality installation of HV/LV systems, switchgear, cabling, lighting, and power distribution equipment.
* Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and installation methods, providing technical guidance and resolving site queries to support smooth execution.
* Monitoring progress against the electrical construction schedule, identifying and mitigating risks, delays, or resource constraints.
* Enforcing strict health and safety standards on site, conducting safety briefings, inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements.
* Collaborating with other construction disciplines, commissioning teams, and project management to ensure seamless integration and handover of electrical systems.
* Managing quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and documentation, to ensure installations meet design and industry standards.
* Preparing and submit regular progress reports, manage variation requests, and support the commercial team with cost control and forecasting related to electrical works.
You Will Need:
* A degree, diploma, or trade background in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Significant experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large-scale or mission-critical projects such as data centres.
* Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods, sequencing, and best practices.
* Proven ability to lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
* Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards on construction sites.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
* EU passport is not required but desirable.
