The Role
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join their project delivery team in Northumberland. In this leadership role, you will take full responsibility for managing all on-site electrical works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership: Lead and oversee all site-based electrical construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Schedule & Planning: Collaborate with planners, project managers, design teams, and consultants to align electrical delivery with the wider project schedule.
Quality & Compliance: Drive QA/QC protocols on site, reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to guarantee buildability and strict standard adherence.
Health & Safety Culture: Enforce stringent health and safety standards on site, fostering a proactive safety-first culture.
Commercial & Cost Control: Work alongside commercial managers to control costs, manage variations, and participate in weekly commercial reviews.
Technical Query & Design Management: Liaise with the design team to ensure technical submittals and build information are issued on schedule, proactively resolving technical issues.
Reporting & Meetings: Chair site meetings, engineering reviews, and handover sessions while providing clear progress reports to senior leadership.
Handover & Snagging: Oversee electrical snagging routines to guarantee seamless and timely project close-out.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience within electrical construction, with a primary focus on site management.
