A leading European data centre delivery specialist is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a flagship hyperscale project in Amsterdam. This contractor is widely recognised for delivering complex, mission-critical facilities across Europe and continues to expand its project portfolio across multiple countries.
This is a senior site-based role with full ownership of electrical construction delivery, offering excellent long-term career progression within a high-growth, technically driven organisation.
You will be responsible for managing the full electrical construction scope on a major data centre project, overseeing subcontractors, programme delivery, quality, safety, and cost control. Working closely with project leadership, engineering, QA/QC, and planning teams, you will ensure the electrical installation is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage detailed electrical construction plans, sequencing, and resourcing
* Coordinate procurement and installation of electrical equipment to specification
* Manage and supervise electrical subcontractors and large site teams
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and site regulations
* Implement quality control processes to ensure installation meets design and standards
* Monitor programme performance and drive on-time delivery
* Track costs and support budget and commercial control
* Identify, manage, and mitigate construction risks and issues
* Act as key interface between client, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and project documentation
* Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and statutory requirements
Requirements
* Electrical Engineering qualification (Degree or equivalent)
* 8+ years’ experience in an Electrical Construction Manager or similar role
* Strong background with M&E contractors on large-scale projects
* Proven experience managing large electrical site teams
* Data centre experience highly advantageous (mission-critical, pharma, or industrial also considered)
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Proficient in MS Office and construction reporting tools
