Start date; ImmediateWe are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners to join a welcoming childcare setting based within a primary school in Islington on a part-time basis.
The Role
In this role, you will provide flexible support across the setting, working where needed to meet the needs of the children and team. This may include time spent in the baby room, toddler room, or early years provision, depending on daily requirements.
You will play a key part in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, supporting children’s learning and development through play and structured activities. Adaptability is essential, as you’ll be working with different age groups, routines, and teams, while ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding are consistently met.
The Children’s centreThis welcoming children’s centre in Islington provides high-quality care and education for children aged 6 months to 3 years, with a strong focus on a nurturing, child-centred approach. The setting offers enriching experiences such as music sessions, forest school activities, and access to well-equipped indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
Based within a popular primary school, the centre benefits from strong links to the school community and close partnerships with families, helping to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
A genuine passion for working with children
Flexibility and reliability
Strong communication and teamwork skills
