Location: Kingston, KT1 2EE
Salary: £11,575.14 per annum (£14.80 per hour)
Contract: Part time, Monday to Friday – 3 hours per day Monday – Friday – 5.30am – 08.30am (15 hours per week)

Kingston University Service Company Ltd (KUSCO) is looking for a reliable and motivated Early Morning Cleaner to join our Campus Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors.
Working across a variety of university facilities, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our campuses are presented to the highest standards.
About the Role
As an Early Morning Cleaner, you'll work as part of the KUSCO Service Delivery Team, carrying out cleaning duties across a range of university buildings and facilities.
You'll be trusted to work with minimal supervision, using your initiative and attention to detail to maintain excellent standards throughout your allocated areas.
Areas may include: Offices, Classrooms, Lecture theatres, Laboratories, Computer rooms, Workshops, Corridors, Washrooms and communal areas
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and maintain allocated areas to agreed service standards
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
* Carry out floor polishing and deep cleaning duties when required
* Keep storage areas clean, organised, and well maintained
* Clean, maintain, and store equipment safely
* Take responsibility for keys issued and maintain security procedures
* Report maintenance issues, defects, safety concerns, and supply requirements
* Follow all health and safety, security, and operational procedures
* Participate in training and development activities as required

* Is physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties

* Presents themselves professionally and follows uniform and PPE requirements
Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
