About the role

Are you qualifying this September and considering your options? Teaching on supply is a wonderful way to explore different opportunities, from day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply.

Heart of Supply is excited to be advertising Early Career Teacher roles for teachers at the start of their journey who are keen to gain experience across a range of welcoming schools in Lincolnshire. This is a great chance for Early Career Teachers to build confidence and find their feet through flexible work, including day to day supply, short term cover and longer-term placements across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You will step into different classrooms, follow clear lesson plans already in place and help keep learning calm, purposeful and enjoyable when the usual class teacher is away.

We are looking for Early Career Teachers who are approachable, adaptable and happy to get stuck in from day one. You will enjoy meeting new pupils and staff, manage behaviour with a steady and positive approach, and bring warmth and enthusiasm into the school day. Whether you are supporting early reading in Reception or helping Year 6 stay focused during revision, this role offers variety, experience and the chance to make a real difference while doing so.

About the schools

At Heart of Supply, we partner with a broad mix of friendly and supportive primary schools across Lincolnshire. These include both local authority and academy settings, all of which are focused on providing a positive day to day experience for pupils and staff alike. The schools we work with are well organised, well-resourced and keen to welcome visiting teachers who can step in confidently and feel part of the team from the moment they arrive.

Because we take the time to get to know our partner schools properly, we are able to place teachers in settings that match their strengths, experience and what they are looking for. Whether a school needs cover for a single day or support over a longer period, our aim is always to keep learning steady and consistent. For schools, this means having dependable teachers they can trust, and for educators, it means gaining varied and meaningful experience while working with primary pupils across the county.

What you will need:

* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting

* A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

* Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement

* The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom

* Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike

* A minimum of 6 weeks’ teaching experience in the UK

We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.

What we offer you:

* Competitive weekly PAYE pay

* Roles tailored to your lifestyle - day-to-day or longer term

* Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools

* A friendly, experienced consultant who listens

* Free CPD and ongoing professional development

* A simple ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme

* A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey
