Location: Bury (M25) | Position: Drama Teacher | Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Part-time | Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm | Pay: £150.00 - £210.00 per day
About the role:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic part-time Teacher to support students within a welcoming mainstream secondary school in the Bury area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people thrive and reach their full potential in an inclusive classroom environment.
Whether you already have experience teaching students aged 11-16, including those with additional needs, or you're an ECT looking to build valuable classroom experience, we would love to hear from you.
Teacher Role Overview
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs
* Support and differentiate for students with SEN, ensuring inclusive access to the curriculum
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support development
* Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
* Work closely with SENCOs, pastoral teams, and parents to support student wellbeing and achievement
* Contribute to wider school life, including meetings, planning, and school activities (pro rata)Experience, Training & Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
* Strong understanding of SEN/SEND and inclusive teaching strategies
* GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
* Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided)
* Prevent, behaviour management, and FGM training (can be provided)Requirements
