Job Title: Domiciliary Care Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Driver to join our care team in the Preston area. You will play a key role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes by providing personal care support, and companionship where required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes, including:

*

Assistance with personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, toileting) where required

*

Helping with medication prompts

*

Supporting clients with daily living tasks

*

Build positive, trusting relationships with clients, respecting dignity, privacy and individual needs.

*

Maintain accurate records of care provided, client interactions and any incidents.

*

Report any concerns about client wellbeing, or safeguarding matters promptly to the appropriate manager.

*

Adhere to all health and safety, safeguarding, and company policies and procedures.

Person Specification

Essential

*

Full UK driving licence with no serious endorsements and the ability to drive in the UK.

*

Experience in a similar role (e.g., care work, driving service users, patient transport).

*

Good understanding of person-centred care and basic health care needs.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Reliable, punctual, and organised.

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable

*

Previous experience in domiciliary care or health/social care settings.

*

First Aid / Manual Handling / Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).

*

Knowledge of Warrington and surrounding areas.
