Hours: Full-time – 45 hours per week | Part-time – 25 hours per week

The Role
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to service users in their own homes.
You will support individuals with a range of needs, illnesses and disabilities while promoting their dignity, independence, wellbeing and choice.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care and support to service users in their own homes and Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
* Support service users with continence management and personal hygiene and Assist clients with getting up in the morning and preparing for bed at night.
* Support clients with medication in line with their care plan and agreed level of support. Prepare meals and drinks while considering individual preferences, nutritional needs and cultural requirements.
* Assist with light domestic duties, including housework and laundry, where required. Support service users with mobility and the safe use of mobility aids and equipment.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, medication support and other tasks undertaken.
* Follow individual care plans and report any changes or concerns regarding a service user's health or wellbeing. Follow all health and safety, safeguarding and company policies.
* Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times. Work closely with families, colleagues and other professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.

Experience & Skills
Experience in domiciliary care, healthcare, nursing homes or a similar setting is desirable, but we also welcome applications from individuals who have the right attitude and values and are looking to start or develop their career in care.
Experience with the following would be advantageous:
* Personal care and Medication support.
* Moving and handling and Hoists and mobility equipment.
* Dementia care and Supporting individuals with disabilities.
* Accurate care documentation and digital care records.
