Are you an experienced domiciliary care manager ready to take greater ownership of a service’s direction and success?
Stephen James Consulting are looking for a motivated Registered Manager who can deliver high standards of care, develop a dependable team and turn growth plans into lasting results.
You’ll have the support of an experienced leadership team, significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a visible difference to the people we support and the future of our business.
The Opportunity:
* You will lead the day-to-day running of this growing domiciliary care service, ensuring people receive safe, consistent and person-centred care in their own homes across Nottinghamshire.
* Alongside managing care quality, staffing and compliance, you will help grow the service: building referral relationships, increasing care hours and developing our private and commissioned client base.
What you’ll be responsible for
* Care quality and compliance: Maintain strong standards across CQC requirements, safeguarding, audits and governance.
* Team leadership: Recruit, supervise and develop care staff, ensuring effective staffing and continuity of care.
* Care planning: Oversee assessments, care plans, risk assessments and reviews, including dementia and complex care.
* Business growth: Develop referral pathways, convert enquiries into care packages and build a sustainable client base.
* Relationship building: Strengthen connections with clients, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals and community partners.
* Service development: Contribute to business planning and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
To be considered for this role of Registered Domiciliary Care Manager you will need the following experience:
You’ll bring experience as a Registered Manager or senior manager within domiciliary care, together with a clear understanding of what makes a service safe, effective and commercially sustainable.
* Proven commercial acumen: How you have increased weekly care hours, secured new referral partnerships, grown a private client base or improved quality while developing your team.
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and quality assurance.
* Knowledge of care planning for people living with dementia and those with complex needs.
* A relevant Level 5 qualification in health and social care leadership and management or be working towards one.
* Strong organisational, communication and relationship-building skills.
* The ability to balance service growth with the needs of clients and staff.
* Autonomy and influence over how the service develops
* Career progression as the organisation expands.
* Scope to make your mark, with opportunities to contribute to future branches and services.
The role of Registered Domiciliary Care Manager is offering £40,000 - £50,000 + excellent benefits and achievable bonus, salary range is dependent on candidate experience
