The Role
As a Domestic / Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while supporting the kitchen team in providing nutritious meals for residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the home
Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
Supporting infection prevention and hygiene procedures
Assisting with food preparation and meal service
Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy and organised
Following food hygiene, health & safety and COSHH procedures
Working closely with colleagues to provide an excellent service for residents
About You
Previous experience in a domestic, housekeeping or kitchen role is desirable
Reliable, hardworking and organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to work effectively as part of a friendly team
Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
Willingness to undertake training where required
Caring, respectful and committed to enhancing residents' quality of life
