We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Care Manager (Clinical) to support the Home Manager in leading a nursing care service and ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate and high-quality care.
The Role
* Provide clinical leadership to nursing and care teams.
* Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance requirements.
* Mentor and supervise nurses and care staff.
* Complete clinical audits, care plan reviews and medication oversight.
* Support assessments, risk management and safeguarding processes.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
* Take responsibility for the home in the Home Manager’s absence.
About You
* Previous Deputy Manager / Deputy Home Manager experience.
* NMC Registered Nurse – essential.
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Experience with care planning, medication management, audits and safeguarding.
* Passionate about delivering person-centred, high-quality nursing care.
