Based in Waterlooville PO7, we work with local authorities, businesses, schools, transport hubs, and developers across the UK to create safe, secure, and sustainable cycling infrastructure. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for motivated individuals to join our installation team.
The Role
We are looking for a Bike Parking Installer to join our installation team. Working across a variety of sites throughout the UK, you will be responsible for installing a wide range of cycle parking products, including cycle shelters, bike racks, compounds, repair stations, and associated street furniture.
The successful candidate will be practical, reliable, and safety-conscious, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be involved in every stage of the installation process, from unloading materials and preparing the site through to completing installations to a high standard and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Install cycle parking equipment and associated products at customer sites.
* Read and follow installation drawings and instructions.
* Prepare installation areas, including setting out and fixing products into a variety of surfaces.
* Safely use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
* Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.
* Represent cycle-works professionally while working on customer premises.
* Travel to sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays where required.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience within construction, groundworks, fencing, steelwork, street furniture, or a similar installation role would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
* Good practical skills and the ability to use hand and power tools.
* A strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card would be advantageous but is not essential.
