* We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a busy, high-volume operation. You will manage a large volume of orders and enquiries, ensuring accurate processing, professional communication and prompt resolution of any issues, while working closely with warehouse, production and accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage high volumes of customer orders via phone and email, ensuring accurate entry of product codes, quantities and delivery details
* Act as a primary point of contact for customers, handling queries on orders, deliveries, products and basic account-related matters
* Handle inbound calls from demanding customers in a calm, professional manner, providing clear and timely updates
* Monitor and respond to email enquiries, ensuring key details and instructions are captured and processed correctly
* Liaise with warehouse, production, logistics and accounts to coordinate order fulfilment and resolve delivery or quality issues
* Support accounts receivable activities where required, including clarifying invoice and payment queries
* Log and help manage quality issues and complaints, escalating appropriately and following through to resolution
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, notes and order histories in relevant systems
Person specification:
* Strong customer service experience (ideally B2B) in an office or order-processing environment
* Experience handling high volume order entry
* Excellent telephone manner with clear, professional and confident communication skills
* High attention to detail, capable of accurately interpreting customer emails and selecting correct product codes
* Comfortable working under time pressure while maintaining accuracy and a positive, customer-focused approach
* Experience in a manufacturing industry is highly desirable
* Reliable attendance and punctuality with a strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of customer issues
