Our Public Sector client based in Redcar require 4 Customer Service Representatives to support with Garden Waste Subscriptions and the new Food Waste Bins Introduction within the Borough.

These position's will predominantly be handling telephone queries and basic administration duties regarding the above services. All positions are due to run through until May 2026.

Duties will include:
To undertake a range of administrative duties in delivery of the service which includes but is not limited to monitoring and responding to generic emails and undertaking call back requests.
To take payments for services as required and to be responsible for the accuracy of all such transactions handled.

To communicate with customers across a range of methods. Including, but not limited to:

o Telephone
o Face to face
o Online (website)
o Webcam
o Webchat
o Email

Provide a high-quality Customer Service to the citizens of the Borough, elected Members, partners and other stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records on the appropriate ICT administration systems.

If you have experience in the following this would be advantageous:

o Council Tax liability and NNDR
o Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support
o Discretionary payments such as social fund and housing payments
o Discounts, such as single person and empty property discounts
o Advising on payment options
o Recovery action, including overpayment, non-payment, bailiff action
o Welfare Rights services
o Cost of living advice
o Missed waste collection enquiries
