For 25 years, our client has supplied architectural ironmongery and specialist hardware to customers across the UK, supporting trade, commercial and residential projects from individual replacements to large-scale developments. Their range covers architectural ironmongery, door and window hardware, security and fire safety products, bespoke doorsets and specialist tools for installation and repair.
The ideal candidate needs to be outgoing, a team player, able to think for themselves as well as being highly organised. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to kick start their career in a customer facing office environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* The progressing of orders and keeping the customer and key account managers up to date.
* Chasing suppliers via phone/email.
* Arranging for collections and returns of orders.
* Updating internal Sales System with Supplier Order Acknowledgements.
* Answering calls and responding to emails.
* General administrative duties.
* Greeting customers.
* Loading of Customer Orders
* Checking Supplier Order Acknowledgements
* Chasing Purchase Orders
* Trade counter face to face
* Warehouse duties
Skills Required:
The successful candidate will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be outgoing and be able to
