Customer Service & Sales Advisor – Motorhomes & Caravans
Location: Staveley, Chesterfield Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. One to two Saturdays per month, 8:30am–2:00pm (paid at time and a half)
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is pleased to be recruiting for a Customer Service & Sales Advisor on behalf of a respected and long‑established motorhome and caravan business based in Staveley, Chesterfield.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, dedicated, and hands‑on family-run team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales of both new and used motorhomes, ensuring customers receive a professional, informative, and welcoming experience from initial enquiry through to purchase.
Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist walk‑in customers, providing knowledgeable product advice and guidance.

Build rapport with customers, identify their needs, and support them through the full sales process.

Handle telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
*
Process orders and payments accurately using the till system.
*
Recommend additional products and upsell where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities.
*
Liaise with suppliers regarding product information, pricing, and availability.
*
Maintain strong relationships with key account customers.
*
Support stock management, documentation, and occasional trade events.
Candidate Requirements
*
Previous experience in customer service and sales, ideally within motorhomes, caravans, or the automotive industry.
*
Confident, articulate communicator with strong negotiation skills.
*
Professional appearance and a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
*
Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, supportive team.
*
Organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
*
An interest in motorhomes, campervans, or leisure vehicles is highly advantageous.
