We're looking for a problem-solver, not a call handler.
IMPORTANT: If your customer service experience is predominantly from a call centre environment, you will not be considered for this role.
We're looking for someone who has worked in a small or medium-sized business, where customer service means getting involved, taking ownership and sorting things out, rather than simply following a process.
You'll join a small, established team within a successful consumer products business.
This is a varied, hands-on role dealing with everything from retailer enquiries and consumer complaints to delivery problems, missing orders and general customer issues.
What you'll be doing:
Dealing directly with retail customers and members of the public
Owning complaints from initial contact through to resolution
Sorting out delivery, stock and order problems
Liaising with warehouses, couriers and internal departments
Investigating issues and finding practical solutions
Getting involved wherever needed to make things happen
Who we're looking for:
Experience in a varied customer service role within a smaller business is essential
Experience dealing with orders, deliveries, logistics and complaints
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Someone who takes responsibility rather than passing problems on
A practical, resourceful person who uses initiative and common sense
Someone who enjoys being part of a small, hardworking team
This is not a call centre position. We need someone who is used to rolling up their sleeves, juggling different responsibilities and seeing problems through until they're properly resolved.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing a good job and wants to become a valued, long-term member of the team.
