About Us

A Lings Group Ltd is a rapidly growing home emergency services provider, delivering Gas, Plumbing, Electrical, and Drainage services to private and insurance-backed clients across South London.

With over five years of continuous growth, we pride ourselves on reliability, speed, and excellent customer service. We are now looking to expand our office-based customer service team to support increasing demand.

Our office is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Hackbridge Station, with direct rail links into central London.

The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our operations. You’ll be responsible for handling inbound calls, booking jobs, managing enquiries, and supporting engineers in a fast-paced environment.

This role suits someone who remains calm under pressure, is highly organised, and communicates professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Answer inbound customer calls and book jobs accurately

Prioritise emergency work and manage workloads efficiently

*

Compile and action customer reports same day or next day

*

Respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner

*

Liaise with engineers and internal teams to ensure smooth job progression

*

Participate in a weekend rota (paid at enhanced overtime rates)

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a customer service or office-based role (essential)

*

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

*

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

*

Confident IT skills (CRM systems, email, booking software)

*

Flexible approach, particularly during peak winter periods

*

Reliable, positive attitude with a willingness to learn

Experience within home emergencies, trades, insurance, or facilities management is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, plus participation in a weekend rota (overtime paid)
