Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday with a Saturday on a rota basis
About the Role
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a growing and professional organisation based in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous customer service or contact centre experience who enjoys helping people and delivering a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for customers via telephone and email.
* Deliver a professional, friendly and efficient customer experience.
* Accurately record and update customer information on internal systems.
* Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely updates.
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure queries are resolved efficiently.
* Work to agreed service standards and performance targets.
About You
* Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
* Confident using computer systems and learning new processes.
* A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work as part of a team.
* Well organised and able to manage a busy workload
