Location: Manchester (City Centre) - Fully Onsite
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday (09:00 - 17:00)

Contract Duration: 19/06/2026 - 24/07/2026

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a team of Funding Application Reviewers to support with the assessment and validation of community funding applications.

Based at a central Manchester office, this role involves reviewing submissions from community groups and organisations, ensuring all applications meet the required eligibility criteria. You will play a key role in supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference within local communities.

The position requires strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information with care and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Review and assess funding applications thoroughly, identifying any discrepancies or concerns
Validate information provided by applicants against relevant databases and sources
Ensure all applications meet defined eligibility criteria and guidelines
Investigate and escalate any complex or high-risk cases to the appropriate teams in a timely manner
Communicate with applicants via email to request further information where applications are incomplete or unclear
Maintain accurate records and ensure all data is handled in line with compliance requirementsKey Skills & Experience

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written communication skills, including excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with external applicants
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook and comfortable working with databases and systems
Customer-focused approach with a high level of professionalismCandidate Profile
