Due to continued business needs, we are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Customer Service team based in Aberdeen.
This role is well suited to a motivated Graduate with a degree in a Business Management, who is eager to develop a career in customer service and sales within a fast‑paced, technically focused environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will support the processing of customer enquiries in an accurate, compliant and professional manner, while developing strong customer relationships and delivering a consistently high standard of service.
You will be involved in quotation, order and invoicing activities, working closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive value‑for‑money solutions and that service levels, response times and commercial targets are achieved.
Full training and support will be provided to help you develop both commercial awareness and technical understanding as your experience grows.
Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
* Degree qualification in Business Management or a related discipline
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to build effective working relationships with customers and internal teams
* Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage workload effectively
* Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* A motivated, proactive individual with a flexible “can‑do” approach
Desirable Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
* Qualification and/or training in sales techniques or customer service
* S/NVQ Level 3 in Customer Services
* Previous experience in a sales or service environment
* Working knowledge of ERP systems
* Understanding of Hydrasun products or similar engineered solutions
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
* Processing customer enquiries and quotations accurately and within agreed timescales
* Supporting enquiry intake, order conversion and invoiced sales targets
* Reviewing customer requirements to ensure compliance and contract accuracy
* Processing orders, managing deliveries and supporting invoicing activities
* Identifying and maximising opportunities for additional revenue through products or services
* Producing reports and documentation in line with Hydrasun and customer requirements
* Promoting strong customer relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing positively to team performance
* Adhering to Hydrasun quality, safety and compliance standards at all times
