Location: North Shields, NE29
£12.71 per hour
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday – Wednesday
Reports to: Customer Service Lead
About the Company
Our client is the UK distribution partner for a range of iconic European brands across the children’s and lifestyle sectors.
Operating from a 22,000+ sq. ft. head office, showroom and warehouse in North Tyneside, they work with an exciting portfolio of beautifully designed products and support a large network of retailers across the UK.
As they approach their peak trading period, they are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team and help them continue delivering an excellent service to their retail and brand partners.
The Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused individual to support the customer care of more than 500 retailers across the toy, gift and lifestyle sectors.
Working closely with the Customer Service Lead, you will provide day-to-day administrative support while building and maintaining positive relationships with retailers.
You will also work collaboratively with the warehouse, marketing, accounts and account management teams to ensure customers receive an efficient, thoughtful and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and resolving day-to-day customer service queries across B2B and B2C platforms.
* Responding to enquiries from customers, retailers and brand partners.
* Providing administrative support to the wider customer service function.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers.
* Using data to identify potential areas for improvement and supporting the implementation of changes.
* Maximising the functionality of the HubSpot CRM system to improve and automate processes where appropriate.
* Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure an efficient customer journey.
* Maintaining accurate customer information and administrative processes.
* Consistently demonstrating a high standard of customer service.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience within a customer-facing or customer service role.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Confidence using Microsoft Office.
* Experience using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
* A positive, helpful and professional approach to customer service.
