We are currently recruiting for a Customer Account Coordinator to join a well-established and reputable organisation based in Shipley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative or sales support background who enjoys working in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Administration Supervisor, the Customer Account Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Sales function by preparing quotations—primarily for Spares customers—as well as providing support to Engineering Sales and Service when required. You will act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a high standard of service and efficient order processing.

Key Responsibilities

Handling customer enquiries via telephone and email

*

Preparing and issuing quotations

*

Processing customer orders and managing follow-up communications

*

Managing sales correspondence and related documentation

*

Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment

*

Providing general administrative support to the Sales department

*

Offering cover across other sales administration areas when required

About You

You’ll be an organised, proactive individual with strong communication skills and a commercial mindset. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities and thrive both independently and as part of a team.

Skills & Experience Required

*

Previous experience in an administration or sales support environment

*

Confident in dealing with customers by phone, email, and face-to-face

*

Excellent written and verbal English

*

Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

*

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

*

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

*

A flexible, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn

What’s on Offer

*

£15.21 per hour

*

37.5 hours per week, flexible around the core hours of: Monday to Thursday: 9:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 15:00 Friday: 9:30 to 13:00
