About the Role

The Construction Curriculum Manager is a key leadership position within the Construction department, responsible for driving curriculum development, quality improvement and innovation. Working closely with the Head of Faculty, the postholder will help shape a forward-thinking, industry-responsive curriculum that supports strong student outcomes and progression. The role also plays a central part in promoting high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and personal development across the provision.

Main Duties for this role include

Work closely with the Head of Faculty to develop and review the construction curriculum in consultation with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with Course Leaders to ensure high standards of learner behaviour, engagement and personal development across the curriculum area.
Lead on course development and continuous improvement within the department.
Act as the Teaching, Learning and Digital Champion for the curriculum area, embedding innovative practices and effective use of learning technologies.
Oversee the implementation and effective use of digital systems and tools to enhance delivery, assessment and student outcomes.Requirements:

Degree Level Qualification in an appropriate subject for role or extensive experience in subject specialism.
Certificate in Education/PGCE or QTS through other valid qualification pathways or working towards.
Experience of working in a Further Education college environment.
Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Skills and expertise to lead a team of dedicated lecturers.Benefits:
