Overview

We are representing a leading European specialist contractor operating exclusively in the data centre sector. Our client delivers full turnkey solutions, from early design through construction and commissioning, on major projects across Europe. Due to continued growth in the Nordic region, they are seeking an experienced and driven CSA Construction Manager to join a high-performing project team in Finland.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, fast-track data centre projects with a contractor known for technical excellence and strong delivery capability.

Role & Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages on site.

Lead and support the CSA team, including supervisors, engineers, and package managers, to ensure successful delivery of the CSA scope.

Oversee site safety in collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Safety team.

Drive a strong culture of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental compliance across the CSA team.

Plan and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation activities for all CSA works.

Develop and implement the CSA project delivery strategy. Support the commercial team with Scope of Work documentation and subcontract package development.

Review client design information, identify discrepancies or non-compliance with local and international standards, and lead resolution while protecting commercial and contractual positions.

Develop and manage detailed QA and QC plans in coordination with the QA/QC team to ensure full project compliance.

Manage day-to-day site operations, with a strong focus on Health & Safety and Quality.

Manage the project schedule alongside planning, project management, and subcontractor teams.

Coordinate closely with the design team to ensure timely issue of construction information aligned with the programme.

Manage subcontractor performance, including progress tracking, resourcing, and schedule adherence.

Chair weekly progress meetings with CSA supply chain partners.

Ensure all subcontractor documentation is current, accurate, and properly filed.

Attend site meetings, internal reviews, design reviews, coordination meetings, and handover meetings.

Manage project close-out activities, including punch lists, safety files, QA documentation, and project plans.

Resolve technical, design, and site challenges through structured problem-solving.

Issue daily and weekly progress reports to the project management team.

Support commercial meetings and variation management processes.

Review drawings, setting-out information, and builder's works interfaces related to MEP services.

Skills & Qualifications

Relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 7 years of CSA site management experience.

Proven experience delivering CSA work packages on complex construction projects.

Ability to maintain a high-level project overview while managing detailed technical execution.

Strong experience in programming, sequencing, and short-term planning, including 4 and 12-week look-ahead schedules.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage internal construction teams.

Experience working on large-scale projects, ideally within mission-critical or data centre environments.
