Credit Controller / Finance Assistant
Location: Eurolink- Sittingbourne (office based role)
Hours: Part-Time, (15 hours per week Either 2 full days or 3 days around school hours)
Salary: £16-£16.48 per hour
Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Credit Controller / Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day running of their finance function. This varied role combines credit control responsibilities with general bookkeeping and finance administration duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on position within a busy business environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Chasing outstanding customer payments via phone and email.
* Managing the sales ledger and reducing aged debt.
* Building positive relationships with customers whilst maintaining effective credit control procedures.
* Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts.
* Raising sales invoices and credit notes.
* Processing supplier invoices and supporting purchase ledger activities.
* Completing bank reconciliations.
* Handling finance-related queries from customers and suppliers.
* Assisting with general finance administration as required.
About You
* Previous experience within a Credit Control, Finance Assistant, Bookkeeping or Accounts role.
* Confident managing debtor accounts and chasing outstanding payments.
* Experience using Xero is highly desirable.
