We are recruiting for a Part Time Credit Controller to ensure the company's financial records are accurate. To provide assistance in the department wherever needed as directed by the Manager.

key responsibilities/tasks

* To manage accounts that have been put on stop daily.

* Send copy invoices when required.

* Checking customer’s credit allowance, based on business standards

* Make sure all information on the Customer’s Account is up to date.

* Negotiate payment plans and set up terms and conditions, with Director’s approval.

* Ensuring customers pay on time by maintaining accurate records and reports

* To deal with refunds

* Monitor daily emails & answer any queries

Qualifications and Education Requirements

* Minimum GCSE’s English and Maths (or equivalent)

* High School Education or equivalent attained outside of the UK

* Good/ confident command of the English language.

* Excellent customer service with exceptional verbal communication with persistence and determination

* Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations

* Analytical skills and thorough diligence

* The ability to listen and negotiate with customers

* Ability to work independently whilst maintaining good communication with the rest of the team.

* The ability to use your own initiative and have good use of common sense.

* Someone keen to share ideas to help the department run more smoothly and/ or improve moving forward.

Working hours: 20 hours per week (flexible between 8am to 5.30pm)

Salary: £30k Pro Rata
