I’m partnering with a highly respected Cambridge based company to recruit a Corporate Accountant into a key role within their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys owning the detail and working closely with senior stakeholders . The role offers broad exposure across corporate accounting, tax, compliance, and financial reporting.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Corporate Accountant will play a central role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the firm’s corporate financial reporting. You’ll manage day-to-day accounting operations while supporting strategic initiatives such as budgeting, forecasting, and systems improvement.
The key duties are as follows -
- Preparation of the quarterly management accounts and statutory financial statements
- Ownership of the annual audit process
- Supporting the annual and three year budgeting process
- Producing quarterly forecasts and analysis
- Preparation of corporate tax returns and statutory filings
- Maintaining robust financial controls and best practice accounting standards
- Partnering with stakeholders to review and improve finance systems and processes.
You must be ACA or ACCA qualified with a background in audit, you must have advanced excel skills and strong communication skills with the ability to partner across a business. The role will suit somebody with a strong technical grounding who enjoys working in a small team.
