Prospero Teaching are looking for a flexible Core Subjects Tutor to support a learner in Warrington through personalised 1:1 tuition.
This position would suit an educator confident supporting English and Maths, with the ability to adapt lessons to the learner's current attainment, interests and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored tuition across English and Maths
Assess existing knowledge and identify learning priorities
Plan accessible lessons with clear learning objectives
Develop literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills
Encourage engagement and independent learning
Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual needs
Maintain appropriate records of progress
Requirements
Strong knowledge of English and Maths
Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people
Ability to deliver engaging, structured 1:1 sessions
Patient and adaptable approach
Experience supporting learners who have missed education or need additional support desirable
Relevant teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
