Location: Sefton
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

We are seeking a versatile Core Subjects Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Sefton.
This role would be well suited to a teacher or experienced tutor who can support learners across core areas of the secondary curriculum and adapt sessions to their individual starting point.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition
Support English, Maths and other relevant core subjects
Plan differentiated and engaging sessions
Identify gaps in learning
Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs
Encourage motivation and independent learning
Monitor and review learner progress
Requirements
Experience teaching or tutoring core subjects
Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum
Experience working with young people
Flexible and adaptable teaching style
Strong communication and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
