Class 1 Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Chef/Cook for a rewarding role within a supportive residential setting.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, values structure and routine, and takes satisfaction in preparing nutritious meals that make a positive difference to residents each day.
The Role
You'll be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving well-balanced meals within a professional and supportive environment. The kitchen operates at a steady pace, allowing you to focus on quality, cleanliness, and consistency while maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
Working Hours & Pay
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Pay: £15.00 per hour + £1 attendance allowance (paid monthly in arrears)
Opportunity: Temporary to Permanent position
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook
Good understanding of Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures
Passion for preparing fresh, comforting meals
Ability to manage kitchen service independently
Enhanced DBS certificate required
