We are working with a well-established care provider seeking agency Cook / Chefs to support with ad hoc shift cover. This is a key role within the home, responsible for delivering nutritious, home-cooked meals that meet the needs of elderly residents.
The Role:

Prepare and cook fresh, balanced meals for residents daily
*
Cater for a range of dietary requirements including soft diets, allergies, and cultural preferences
*
Plan menus in line with nutritional guidelines and resident needs
*
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness (EHO compliant)
*
Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen organisation
Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Cook or Chef (care home or similar environment preferred)
*
Knowledge of dietary requirements within elderly care (e.g. IDDSI, allergens)
*
Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum)
*
Strong organisation and time management skills
*
A genuine interest in working within a care environment
