Location: Fully Remote Working

We're supporting a rapidly scaling online marketplace in hiring a contract Performance Marketing Manager on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, specialist role focused on owning and optimising Google Shopping & PMax performance at scale across a large, complex product catalogue.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a true specialist in Google Shopping and PMax, operating at serious scale across millions of SKUs. This is not a strategy position, you'll be deep in the detail, owning performance end-to-end

Key Responsibilities

Own Shopping & PMax Architecture

Design and manage full campaign structures (tiers, priorities, listing groups)
Build scalable frameworks across large SKU catalogues (100K-1M+)
Control PMax vs Standard Shopping interplay for optimal performance
Implement advanced segmentation using feed-driven logic and custom labelsFeed, Merchant Centre & Data Integrity

Own Merchant Centre health: diagnostics, disapproval's, feed rules
Translate commercial inputs (margin, seller quality, pricing) into feed logic
Build robust labelling systems to drive performance segmentationPerformance Optimisation

Optimise towards incremental revenue and contribution
Leverage SKU-level economics, propensity modelling, and performance cohorts
Lead daily trading decisions - spotting issues and deploying fixes fastEfficiency & Scale

Reduce wastage across queries, budgets, and low-value SKUs
Maintain campaign health across complex, high-volume structures
Implement scalable automation and optimisation frameworksTechnical & Tracking Ownership

Own conversion tracking integrity (GTM, server-side, attribution)
Partner with Data/BI teams on performance logic and automation
Ensure all changes are measurable, testable, and repeatableEssential Skills

Deep, hands-on expertise in Google Shopping & PMax
Strong Merchant Centre and feed optimisation experience
Proven experience managing large-scale product catalogues (100K+ SKUs)
Track record in profit/contribution-based optimisation (not just ROAS)
Advanced understanding of:
Campaign architecture & segmentation
Feed tools (e.g. Channable, DataFeedWatch, etc.)
SKU-level bidding & performance control
Highly analytical with a test-and-learn mindset
