Due to continued growth and an uplift in work across the AMP 8 Welsh Water Framework, an opportunity for a permanent Construction Manager has arisen.

Supporting the delivery of works across South Wales, the successful candidate will lead the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of multiple projects, overseeing site teams and ensuring all activities are completed in line with programme, budget, and compliance requirements.

This position offers a key leadership opportunity within a dynamic infrastructure environment, driving both project success and operational performance.

As Construction Manager you will:

* Ensure all works are delivered in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

* Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient coordination and productivity

* Review and approve key documentation including RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and temporary works

* Monitor project performance against programme and cost targets, identifying risks and implementing solutions

* Carry out regular site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance and best practice

* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships

* Provide leadership, guidance, and development support to site teams

* Collaborate with commercial teams on cost control, forecasting, and reporting

Our client requires a Construction Manager with:

* Proven experience in a Construction Manager position or similar position within civil engineering and/or infrastructure projects

* Experience delivering works within utilities, water, or maintenance frameworks (highly desirable)

* Experience supervising site teams or supporting project delivery (preferred)

* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and programme schedules

* Knowledge of RAMS, temporary works, and construction planning processes

* Effective communicator with confidence engaging site teams and stakeholders

* Full UK driving licence

* SMSTS & CSCS

Salary/Benefits:
