Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience

An established and growing construction business is looking to appoint a Construction Graduate to join its team in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who has completed a degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related subject and is looking to begin their career within the construction industry.

Working across a range of residential and commercial projects, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to both the operational and commercial sides of construction.

The Role

As a Construction Graduate, you will work closely with experienced members of the project and commercial teams, gaining exposure to a variety of responsibilities including:

Supporting the delivery of residential and commercial construction projects

Assisting with project planning, programming and progress monitoring

Supporting Quantity Surveyors with valuations, variations and cost reporting

Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management

Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation

Attending site meetings and assisting with project coordination

Supporting the preparation of reports and project documentation

Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other project stakeholders

Developing an understanding of construction contracts, commercial processes and project delivery

About You

We are looking for a recent graduate who is keen to build a long-term career within construction.

Ideally, you will have:

Recently completed, or be due to complete, a degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

A genuine interest in the construction industry

Good communication and organisational skills

Strong attention to detail

A willingness to learn and develop

A proactive and positive attitude

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

A desire to gain practical experience across both residential and commercial projects

Previous construction experience, including placements, internships or relevant work experience, would be advantageous but is not essential.
