An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Disputes Lawyer to join a highly regarded international law firm in Dubai. This role offers exposure to some of the most significant infrastructure, energy and development projects across the Middle East, working alongside market-leading partners and a Tier 1 ranked disputes team.
You will act on complex, high-value construction and engineering disputes, advising major contractors, developers, employers and consultants on contentious matters arising from landmark regional projects.
We are looking to hire a talented Construction Disputes lawyer with 1-3 years' PQE who is looking to join a reputable, supportive and award-winning CAD team.
What you will be doing:
Advising on international disputes and arbitration including project dispute advisory work within the construction sector.
Work closely with leading contractors, developers and project companies on high-profile infrastructure and energy projects.
Acting on matters involving international arbitration (ICC, LCIA, DIAC), adjudication and litigation
Drafting and reviewing pleadings, submissions and expert evidence
Working closely with technical experts, counsel and project teams
Supporting partners on strategy, client development and matter management
Building strong relationships with key regional and international clients
Candidate Profile:
Qualified lawyer with 1-3 years PQE with experience in construction and engineering disputes
UK/Common Law Qualified
Strong background in international arbitration and contentious construction matters
Experience working with standard form contracts such as FIDIC is highly desirable
Strong technical drafting and analytical skills
Commercial, client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
Prior Middle East experience is advantageous but not essential
