Construction Area Sales Manager

Reporting directly to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth of construction machinery and equipment within a designated area. 

Key Responsibilities
Drive sales growth within a defined territory
Develop new business opportunities and generate leads
Manage and grow existing customer accounts
Promote and demonstrate construction machinery and equipment
Build strong, long-term customer relationships
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Carry out customer visits and site demonstrations
Maintain accurate administration and reporting of sales activityRequired Skills & Experience
Proven sales experience (ideally construction or agricultural equipment)
Strong industry and machinery knowledge
Excellent communication skills (face-to-face, phone, and email)
Strong ability to negotiate, influence, and close sales
Experience in account management and relationship building
Confident conducting product demonstrations
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
Experience using Google Maps or similar for route planning
Full UK driving licence and ability to maintain a clean, safe vehicleAdditional Information
Location: West Sussex, BN6
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Additional hours may be required, including weekends on a rota during peak periods
