Job Title: Computer Science Teacher (SEMH) – Y11
Location: Bury
Contract: Temp-to-Perm, Start ASAP
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Daily Rate: £160 – £230 per day (DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Computer Science Teacher to join our SEMH-focused provision in Bury. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the education and well-being of young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

You will be teaching Year 11 students (4 in class) with the support of a Teaching Assistant, delivering engaging and accessible Computer Science lessons. The role starts immediately, with the potential to continue into January and the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons tailored to SEMH students

Manage a small classroom effectively, supporting students’ learning and emotional needs

*

Collaborate with the Teaching Assistant to support student progress

*

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and reports as required

*

Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

*

Qualified Teacher status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Experience teaching Computer Science, ideally in secondary education

*

Experience working with SEMH students is highly desirable

*

Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills

*

Ability to start immediately
