Community Carer

TERM-TIME ONLY

Day Carer - Taunton, Somerset.

Agile Complex Care is seeking a Compassionate, enthusiastic, creative and proactive Carer to Support a Teenager in the Taunton area, after school.

3x Afternoon/Evening shifts per week, set days.

This community-based role involves supporting a Teenage boy, who has Cerebral Palsy, is bright, creative and engaging.

He requires enabling support to help him carry out day to day activities, including:

* Collecting him from school

* Helping him with homework

* Preparing tea

* Completing physiotherapy exercises

* Other hobbies, such as art & drama, swimming, riding, going for a coffee shop treat

We're looking for someone who is:

* Caring, genuine, reliable and friendly

* Proactive and able to work independently

* Passionate about supporting others to acheive their goals

* A confident communicator with a positive attitude

Experience in care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
